Earn CE contact hours at the Neuroscience Nursing Annual Conference

All CE contact hours are subject to change as the Annual Conference approaches.

ANCC Accredited with Distinction NCPD Logo purpleThe American Association of Neuroscience Nurses is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 

The American Association of Neuroscience Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CEP:13331)

Be aware of your own state board of nursing's continuing education requirements, especially if you live in a state where continuing education is mandatory. Attendees can earn 1 nursing contact hour for every 60 minutes of educational content by attending the session(s) or viewing the recording(s) and completing and submitting evaluation forms by April 17, 2024. The total number of contact hours that can be earned are as follows:

CE Contact Hours for 2024 Pre-Conference Workshops

*Pre-Conference sessions require an additional registration fee

  • Brain Anatomy With 3D Correlation to Trauma, Stroke, and Other Pathology: 4 CE contact hours for a 4-hour Pre-Conference workshop
  • Spine Anatomy and 3D Correlation to Trauma and Degenerative Disease: 2 CE contact hours for a 2-hour Pre-Conference workshop

CE Contact Hours for 2024 Conference Posters and Sessions

  • 5.85 CE contact hours for evaluating 39 posters (each poster evaluation is worth 0.15 CE contact hours)
  • 15 CE contact hours for the entire conference (excluding posters, pre-conference sessions, keynote, and invited speaker)

CE Contact Hours for Additional 2024 Events

2 CE contact hours total for the Agnes M. Marshall Keynote Address and networking session.

Conference Learning Outcomes

As a result of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Acquire knowledge and skills necessary to provide optimal patient care based on current research and evidence-based practice
  2. Identify opportunities to promote the advancement of neuroscience nursing
  3. Generate ideas to improve practice and processes in the workplace through networking and mentoring
  4. Self-report increases in knowledge related to the care of neuroscience patient and obtained via the course evaluation
